The Healing Power of Local Plants
Lets get together and spend time with the plants. We will walk through the woods meeting many plants in their natural habitats and talk about the ways they can be used for medicine. I will cover a brief history of herbal medicine, important definitions, methods of preparation, ethical wildcrafting, culinary herbs and creating a healing garden. We will make infusions, a tincture and a salve to take home. Come and reconnect with our plant relations and learn about the healing gifts they are willing to share with us.
