Seed Starting and Cold Frames
Now that we have our seeds what do we do with them? Which can we start indoors now, which ones can go directly outside now and which have to wait. We will incorporate hands-on experience in starting seeds in flats for indoor propagation. We will talk about soil mediums, cold frames, outdoor planting techniques and when to prefer plant starts over seeds. All our conversation will be geared to growing along the Front Range and at altitude, whether in an urban or mountain environment. Using Woodbine's garden as a living classroom we will have plenty of hands-on activities with seeds and cold-frames. Lets get our hands dirty and get growing!
