Non Violent Direct Action & Community Organizing 101

This 2-hour session will cover the basic elements of community organizing and non-violent direct action.

NVDAFrom our experience, many folks rush into NVDA without utilizing the basics of community organizing. And in the same rush, others will focus solely on community organizing and avoid non-violent direct action. We believe both approaches are short sighted. To that end, we are offering a two-part session that will cover a combination of both community organizing and non-violent direct action.

The first session will cover elements of the basic components of community organizing and non-violent direct action organizing, with a longer second session to follow in May. Each component will be covered in a presentation style, complemented with handouts.

Sliding scale donations accepted: $10 - $25

This training will be held at Four Winds American Indian Council in Denver.
