We are excited to invite all Woodbine community members and anyone interested in knowing more about us and what we do to join us in celebrating the changing of the seasons with a community potluck at the Woodbine Ecology Center!
The Spring Celebration is a great time to meet new friends, reconnect with old ones, and learn more about the great programs, educational events, and volunteer opportunities that Woodbine will be offering this year. Plus, you won't want to miss the chance to learn more about mycology and the role that fungi play in forest ecosystems by participating in a fun mushroom log cultivation workshop with our resident naturalist Garth Schaefer.
Please RSVP to email@example.com if you plan to join us. Late arrivals and early departures are fine - it will be a pretty relaxed day of learning and community building. We look forward to seeing you there!
Free and open to the public. Weather permitting, some of the activities will take place outdoors. Please dress appropriately! Directions can be found here. Any weather related changes or cancellations will be posted on our weather page by 9am Satuday morning.
All programs and events are zero waste. Woodbine provides recycling and composting receptacles. Please bring a reusable water bottle and reusable plate and silverware with you. We will have extras for those who cannot provide their own.
