Due to COVID-19, Woodbine Ecology Center will remain closed to the general public during the 2020 season.

Effective July 2, 2020, Stage 2 Fire Restrictions are in effect for unincorporated Douglas County, which includes Woodbine. Fires are never permitted without staff supervision at Woodbine.

We can never accommodate unscheduled drop-ins. If you would like to schedule a visit or tour, please contact us or call 303.380.7984. We are operating under reduced staffing so our response time will be slower. Remember we are at 7,000 feet (2,140 meters) so the weather will be cooler than in the lower urban areas. Please dress appropriately and we always recommend sturdy, closed toes footwear, a hat, and sunscreen.
